Synopsis:
Alone, friendless in big city Mumbai, penniless, robbed of his money and cheated out of his meager inheritance, Sunder cursed his luck, cried his heart out and in frustration punched the headstone of a grave. He was in a graveyard, the only spot which provided him some shelter and solace. Good mannered that he was, he instantly apologized to the grave. Only to have a ghost come out of it. The ghost assured him that he was a ‘good’ ghost. That he was the ghost of a reformed criminal, who was betrayed and killed by his close friend. Taken in by the ghost’s good manners, Sunder reluctantly agrees to accept his help. The unlikely duo’s efforts to achieve Sunder’s objective provide some side splitting moments and genuine entertainment.
Johny (Sanjay Dutt) and Jimmy (Saif Ali Khan) are small time crooks who always land up in jail for their misdeeds. Their meeting in jail leads them to hatch a new plan together – Get richer by Rs 30 crores. They join Bipasha’s hotel as waiters and are looking for a perfect opportunity. To add to this is Shakti Kapoor, Bipasha's uncle who is killed by the terrible-trio of Mukesh Rishi, Aasif Shaikh and Shiva. Supriya plays a tantrik who revives him, albeit for a brief spell of 18 hours when he will avenge his death. What follows is a total time pass entertainment.
